The Korea-Japan Young Psychiatrists’ Conference (KJYPC) was founded by late Prof. Min, Byung Kun (Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry, Ulsan University, Korea) and late Prof. Masahisa Nishizono (Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry, Fukuoka University, Director of Institute for Psychosocial Psychiatry & Psychoanalysis, Japan) in 2000. KJYPC had been held continuously every year since then, and especially supported by alumni from 2013. After the postponed conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we held the 1st KJYPA Conference online (22nd Korea Japan Young Psychiatrists’ Conference) as a hybrid meeting in Fukuoka in 2022.

In 2023, we are pleased to announce that the 23rd Korea-Japan Young Psychiatrists’ Conference will be taking place as an in-person meeting from September 21-23 in Fukuoka. KJYPC is expected to deliver the fruitful scientific programs related to the theme ‘Psychiatry in the Post Corona Era’ to promote academic exchange, professional collaboration and warm relationship in psychiatry while meeting friends and colleagues from Korea and Japan. We are looking forward to meeting you in Fukuoka. We appreciate the cooperation of Department of Neuropsychiatry Graduate School of Medical Sciences Kyushu University, Japan Society for the promotion of science, Mental Health Okamoto Memorial Foundation, Nonprofit Organization, Japan Young Psychiatrists Organization (JYPO), Inuo Hospital, Fukuma Hospital, Shiranui Hospital and Nakaniwa mental clinic.
